Our vision is to be among the top 10 hostels and guesthouses in Brazil. Not only do we strive for excellence, but also we aim to create a welcoming environment where guests feel at home. As a result, we are committed to providing first-class services in a cozy atmosphere with a European touch. In the long run, we believe that our dedication will lead us to achieve this goal.
The names Refúgio Hostel Fortaleza and Refúgio Pousada Fortaleza stand for quality. With our products and services, we aim to offer our guests the best sustainable value for money and achieve the highest customer satisfaction.
When we opened our first place, the hostel, in 2014, we set our vision goal to be among the top 10 hostels in the state of Ceará within 5 years. *
It looks like we’ve achieved that, but we’re still working every day to take it to the next level.

At Refúgio Hostel Fortaleza and Refúgio Pousada Fortaleza, our mission, vision, and philosophy are centered on creating added value for guests, employees, and partners. Therefore, our guests and their wishes are the main motivation for our work. Moreover, our team loves their job and has a clear goal: to provide guests with a unique stay.
Furthermore, Refúgio Hostel Fortaleza and Refúgio Pousada Fortaleza are inspiring places for guests, employees, and partners, with clear values reflected in the overall concept, the building, the furnishings, and in how we treat each other. In addition, we’re pioneers in developing ideas and concepts to offer guests personalized services.
Consequently, we protect the environment to the best of our ability. For example, we generate almost all of our energy ourselves with solar panels on the roof of the hostel building and, since 2024, also on the pousada’s rooftop. Ultimately, our mission, vision, and philosophy guide us in every aspect of our operations.
